Oil Filtration & Recovery

Gets your cutting oil back out of the swarf

A bucket-conveyorised plant driven by a motor that throws metallic waste into a centrifuge of 5 kg capacity. The centrifuge extracts oil from the metallic waste through centrifugal force and stops automatically on a timer. The dry waste falls and collects in a bin, and the whole cycle repeats automatically from the electrical control panel.

The Problem It Solves

Swarf carries a lot more oil than it looks like

Metal chips leaving a machining centre are soaked in cutting oil. When that swarf goes into a scrap bin, the oil goes with it — you pay for the oil, you pay to dispose of a wet mixture, and you get a lower price for contaminated scrap.

Centrifuging the swarf separates the two. The oil comes back for filtration and reuse, the metallic waste leaves dry and sells as clean scrap, and the mess of oil-soaked chips sitting in a bin next to the machine disappears.

Our Offerings & Technology

How we build the plant

Key Features & Advantages

A plant that runs itself between bin changes

01

Conveyorised feeding

The bucket conveyor charges the centrifuge, so no one is shovelling wet swarf by hand.

02

Centrifugal extraction

Centrifugal force pulls oil out of the metallic waste far more completely than draining ever will.

03

Timer auto-stop

The centrifuge stops itself on a timer, so the cycle is the same every charge.

04

Automatic cycling

The electrical control panel repeats the whole cycle, so the plant runs unattended.

05

Dry scrap out

Waste leaves dry and collects in a bin, which raises its scrap value and cuts disposal cost.

06

Oil recovered

Extracted oil goes to filtration and back into service instead of leaving with the scrap.

Where It Is Used

Typical applications

Machining centres

Recovering oil from swarf coming off turning and milling operations.

Scrap handling

Producing dry, clean scrap that fetches a better price.

Waste compliance

Plants reducing the volume of oil-contaminated waste they dispose of.

Auto component plants

High-volume machining lines generating swarf continuously.

Often Bought Together

Machines that pair with this one

Oil Filtration Plant

Cleans the oil you recover here down to 2 microns for reuse.

Component Washing Machine

Washes the components those chips came off, before assembly.

Bin Washing Machine

Cleans the swarf and component bins once they are emptied.

How much swarf leaves your plant wet?

Tell us your swarf volume per shift and the oil you use. We will size the plant and estimate what the recovered oil is worth.
